The Legend of Blister Online
Press [O] · one overall completion score across five categories, with a real, permanent reward at 100%
Unlike most of the game's tracking systems — the Trophy Room, the Collection Log, Apex Hunter, and the rest — the Legend panel isn't about any one thing. It's a single overall completion percentage drawn from five, deliberately narrow, weighted categories, and it's one of the only completion trackers in the game that actually pays out.
The five categories
| Category | Target | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| Faction quest chains complete | All 5 factions' chains finished | 30% |
| Factions at Exalted standing | All 5 factions at the top reputation tier | 20% |
| Property portfolio owned | Every property tier owned | 20% |
| World survey | Every distinct biome visited (120+, and growing as the world does) | 15% |
| Total level | Total Level 2,000 | 15% |
Each category's own progress is capped at its target before being weighted in, so overshooting one — Total Level past 2,000, for instance — can't make up for falling short on another. The five weights add up to exactly 100%, so completing every category in full is, by construction, a 100% score.
Reaching 100%: a real, permanent reward
Hit 100% for the first time and the game declares you "Legend of Blister Online" — a one-time toast, a badge that stays on the panel afterward, and +2% experience gain across every skill, permanently. It's claimed automatically and immediately once your score crosses 100%, and the game saves the moment it happens so the achievement can't be lost.
Double Legend: a second bonus for playing past it
Once you've claimed Legend, the panel switches to tracking a second goal: pushing your Total Level to 4,000 — double the 2,000 the base panel asks for. Reaching it declares you "DOUBLE LEGEND" and grants a further +3% all-skill XP, permanently, stacking with the first 2% — five percent total for a character that's gone all the way. Unlike the base score, Double Legend tracks only Total Level; none of the other four categories carry over into it.
What's deliberately left out
The Legend score doesn't track everything the game offers, and that's a considered choice repeated across several separate additions over the game's history — furniture collection, the Collection Log, and others were each proposed for inclusion and each turned down for the same reason: adding a flat collect-or-use counter to a five-category, precisely-weighted 100% would dilute what the existing categories already measure, without being the kind of milestone-gated progress (a chain finished, a tier reached) the other five categories are. Systems left out of Legend instead get their own standalone tracker — a Trophy Room row, a dedicated panel — rather than being folded in and diluting everyone else's percentage.
Version history
- Added, as one overall completion score across faction quest chains, faction standing, property, world exploration, and total level.
- The world-survey target made to self-update. It used to be a hand-typed number (28) from an era when the world genuinely had roughly that many biomes; a full recount found 123 distinct, player-reachable biomes by that point — itself already one short by the time it was written down, which is exactly why the number was replaced with a live count read from the game's own biome registry instead of ever being hand-typed again.
- Double Legend added, so a player who reaches 100% and keeps playing has a further, stacking goal rather than a panel with nothing left to track.
Trivia
- The decision to keep certain systems out of the Legend score has been made independently at least five separate times across the game's development, for different proposed additions, and landed on the same answer every time — described in the game's own notes as five cycles running in a row reaching the same conclusion.
